Precautions for using the Primary Stream and Secondary Stream of HEV-10

HEV-10 is upgraded to add support for Primary stream and Secondary stream functions. Regarding the use of Primary stream and Secondary stream, you may need to pay attention to the following information.

1.Do not leave the encoder powered off while you perform the upgrade.After you finish the update, please clear your browser history and then log in to the control page of HEV-10, otherwise some settings may not be displayed properly.

2.HEV-10 is a compact encoder, its power consumption is very low, the CPU performance of the encoder is fixed, in the case of not turning on the Secondary stream, the Stream stream can be pushed at the highest bit rate 16M. After turning on the Secondary stream, the Secondary stream will definitely occupy some CPU resources, which will cause the performance of the Primary stream not to be turned on to the highest, this is normal, please pay attention to the allocation when using.

3.Configuration recommendations
After the upgrade is complete, Secondary streaming is turned off by default, you can turn it on in "Video".

3.1 RTSP push stream bit rate recommendation
After enabling Secondary-stream, if you want to use the encoder to push RTSP video stream, the bit rate of Secondary-stream can be set up to 2M, and the bit rate of Primary stream please don't exceed 10M, otherwise CPU resources will be strained.

3.2 UDP push stream bit rate recommendation
After enabling Secondary-stream, if you want to use the encoder to push UDP video stream, the bit rate of Secondary-stream can be set up to 2M, and the bit rate of Primary stream please don't exceed 8M, otherwise CPU resources will be strained.

3.3 SRT push stream bit rate recommendation
After enabling Secondary-stream, if you want to use the encoder to push UDP video stream, the bit rate of Secondary-stream can be set up to 2M, and the bit rate of Primary stream please don't exceed 3M, otherwise CPU resources will be strained.

3.4 RTMP push stream bit rate recommendation
The Primary stream supports outputting two RTMP video signals, and the Secondary stream supports outputting two RTMP video signals, adding up to 4 RTMPs, you can push these 4 RTMPs to 4 different live streaming platforms, such as youtube, facebook, etc.
Please note that the total bit rate of 4-way RTMP should not be set larger than 8M, otherwise it will lead to CPU resource strain.
Examples:
(1)You can set the Primary stream to 2M bitrate and the Secondary stream to 2M bitrate, so the total bitrate of the 4-way RTMP is exactly 8M.
(2)You can set the Primary stream to 3M bitrate and the Secondary stream to 1M bitrate, so the total bitrate of the 4-way RTMP is exactly 6M, not more than 8M.
(3)You can turn off the Secondary-stream and set the Primary stream to 4M, so the total bit rate of 4-way RTMP is 4M+4M+0+0=8M.
Please set it according to your needs in actual use.

Hey brothers, could someone help me on how I can encode videos in MeGUI using my GPU? It only does with the CPU and this is very slow.

I use AviSynth script.
