So when i try to update to the files you told me to on Amazon ED2k-V 1.1.0.16 it fails at 50 percent.

i see i am on version 3.34w5-EU now so that does not even match the firmware you wanted me to upgrade to.

Hello Jason,Im having the same issue here, on Windows 8.1, and firmware v255.12I would do as DreDub suggested use old software version to upgrade firmware, but cant find the old version of software for Windows. Can you link to it please? I would give it a try. Many thanksOhm23

Firmware version

Hi,
I am bit new to this forum.
I am having an SPD8020 but never updated the firmware.
Looking at these posts i am realy ancious to upgrade it to use the new functionality.
What are the correct steps for doing so?
Can I straightforward upgrade to latest version 14.0?
What are the risks? dos and donts.

Thanks in advance.

:D
You may need to log in to the encoder's webpage and check the firmware version in the system tray
